Makayla and Madeline

All year long in Makayla's first grade class, the whole class has wanted to do "Show and Tell". The teacher has never let them do it. Finally this week, the teacher told the class they could bring something for show and tell only if it was something very very special. The teacher told them they could not bring toys or stuffed animals, only special things. Makayla was not sure what she could bring, and thought about it all afternoon yesterday. Last night she came and told me she had found something very special to show the class at school. She had found a picture of Madeline when she was just a couple of months old. She found a pink frame to put it in. She told me that Madeline was the most special thing she could think of. So, I guess Madeline will be at the first grade "show and tell" today.
